Manchester United is reportedly eyeing Nicolas Jackson as they look to strengthen their attack. The Chelsea striker, facing increased competition at Stamford Bridge, could make a move if the right offer comes in, with multiple clubs interested in his services.

Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Nicolas Jackson’s situation at Chelsea as they look to bolster their attacking options. The Senegalese forward, who has been with the Blues for the past two seasons, may find himself at a crossroads after Chelsea’s recent signings in the striker role.

As Manchester United continues to face challenges in the striker department, they are turning their attention to Nicolas Jackson. According to The Times, the Red Devils are keeping a close watch on the Senegalese striker’s situation at Chelsea, where he is facing increased competition for the starting role. Chelsea has recently signed two new forwards, Liam Delap from Ipswich and Joao Pedro from Brighton, both of whom add more depth to the attacking options under manager Enzo Maresca.

Nicolas Jackson has been a key player for Chelsea, scoring 30 goals in 81 appearances over the past two seasons. However, with new faces coming in, the 22-year-old striker may feel his place in the starting lineup is under threat. Reports suggest that Jackson could consider his future at Stamford Bridge, especially if the right offer comes in during this transfer window.

While Chelsea have not actively sought to sell Jackson, the club is said to be open to offers, with Manchester United, AC Milan, and Aston Villa all reportedly interested in his services. Despite a solid scoring record, Jackson’s spot in the squad could be at risk due to the arrival of Delap and Pedro.

For Manchester United, the search for a reliable striker has been ongoing. The club’s current forward options have not lived up to expectations, with Rasmus Hojlund struggling to make an impact. Additionally, Joshua Zirkzee ended his debut season with only seven goals in 49 appearances. Given these issues, United’s interest in Jackson seems to be part of a broader effort to address their attacking deficiencies.

Chelsea are believed to value Jackson at approximately £100 million (€115.3 million/$133.8 million), a price that could deter some suitors. However, it remains to be seen whether Manchester United will make a formal approach at this price, especially considering the complexities surrounding other negotiations, such as their pursuit of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. With negotiations for Mbeumo reportedly at a standstill, the Red Devils may look to push for a deal with Chelsea for Jackson.

If Jackson stays at Chelsea, he faces fierce competition for a starting role. After his limited involvement in the Club World Cup, where he was sent off against Flamengo and had a tense moment with Cole Palmer during the semi-final, the striker’s future at Stamford Bridge seems uncertain. Should he remain, he will need to fight for a spot in the starting lineup against Delap and Pedro, both of whom are eager to make their mark at Chelsea.

As the transfer window heats up, Nicolas Jackson‘s future at Chelsea remains in the balance. With interest from Manchester United and other top clubs, the striker could soon face a tough decision on his next career move. Whether he stays at Chelsea to fight for his place or moves to a new club in search of regular playing time, his future will likely be decided in the coming weeks.
