Liverpool (middle) are the favorites to win the Premier League title over Arsenal and Manchester City.

As the 2025–26 Premier League season crosses the six-game mark, the title race is already shaping up to be another gripping affair. While it’s still early days, a leading football supercomputer has crunched the numbers—and it’s Liverpool who currently lead the race to lift the trophy in May. Despite unexpected twists and nail-biting finishes, the same elite clubs are back in contention, with Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool leading the charge.

Supercomputer Tips Liverpool as Title Favorites
According to the latest data from Opta’s supercomputer, Liverpool hold the strongest position in the title race with a 48.04% chance of securing the Premier League crown. The reigning champions top the table with 15 points and have already demonstrated their resilience, relying on late goals to grind out crucial results in a tightly packed top seven.

One of the standout moments of Liverpool’s campaign so far came in a thrilling match against Arsenal, where Dominik Szoboszlai sealed a dramatic win with a stunning 83rd-minute free-kick. That victory not only boosted the Reds’ momentum but also proved pivotal in separating them from their closest rivals early on.

Arsenal Remain Relentless but Second-Favorites
Despite another strong start, Arsenal are once again projected to fall just short. With a 32.31% chance of winning the league, Mikel Arteta’s side remain firmly in the hunt but still trail Liverpool both in points and predicted outcomes. The Gunners, who have finished second in each of the last three seasons, will be determined to break that cycle and finally clinch their first Premier League title under Arteta.

Sitting just two points behind Liverpool, Arsenal have been consistent but will need to raise their level in key fixtures to overcome the odds and end their title drought.

Manchester City: Struggling Start, But Never Count Them Out
Manchester City round out the list of top contenders, with a 10.33% chance of reclaiming the title. The six-time champions under Pep Guardiola have had a rocky start to the season, with only 10 points from seven games, leaving them seventh in the table. However, with Erling Haaland continuing to terrorize defenses and plenty of time left in the campaign, City remain a dangerous threat.

Guardiola’s squad has been known for their late surges in past seasons, and with such quality at his disposal, City could easily turn their fortunes around and re-enter the title conversation.

Title Race Still Wide Open
With only five points separating the top seven teams, the Premier League remains as unpredictable as ever. Upsets, comebacks, and last-minute drama have already defined the early stages of the season, and more twists are surely on the way. But if Opta’s projections are anything to go by, the battle for the Premier League trophy may once again come down to familiar rivals.

As the campaign unfolds, all eyes will be on Liverpool, Arsenal, and City to see who can sustain their form and make the decisive push when it matters most.
