The £5 million Dorset home of former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp was raided by a gang of hammer-wielding thieves who stole jewellery from his wife, Sandra. The targeted burglary is now under investigation by Dorset Police. The thieves, masked and armed, appear to have been well-prepared, with reports suggesting they had prior knowledge of the home’s layout.

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp’s £5 million home was the victim of a terrifying burglary carried out by a gang of hammer-wielding thieves. The attack, which targeted the luxury Poole property, saw Redknapp’s wife, Sandra, have jewellery stolen, although the ex-football manager was not present at the time.

According to reports, the thieves used lump hammers and a sledgehammer to break into the property, fully masked. It is believed that the criminals knew the house would be empty at the time of the break-in. The heist was clearly planned, with a source telling The Sun, “The raiders must have known the house was empty. They were caught on CCTV cameras breaking in and trying to ransack the property looking for valuables.”

What adds a chilling layer to the burglary is the suggestion that the thieves may have accessed a property listing on the Rightmove website, giving them knowledge of the house’s layout. “The criminals would only have to keep watch on the property and break in once the coast was clear, knowing the full layout of the house in advance,” the source added.

The Redknapps’ home is located near the exclusive Sandbanks resort in Dorset, an area renowned for its high-value properties. Adding to the family’s real estate portfolio, Harry and Sandra are also in the process of building a new waterside mansion in the area.

The burglary took place while Harry was at a function, and Sandra was reportedly away in London. A spokesman for Redknapp stated, “Harry doesn’t want to make a fuss. There was no one in the house at the time and we don’t want to comment on what was taken. It’s a matter for the police.”

Dorset Police are currently investigating the break-in. A spokesperson confirmed, “We received a report of a burglary at an address in Poole. Officers attended and carried out enquiries at the property. An investigation is underway into the incident. No arrests have been made at this time.”

Next Article Liverpool have reached an agreement with French club Lyon for the transfer of young midfielder Tyler Morton, with the deal valued at £15 million. The 22-year-old England Under-21 star will be heading to Ligue 1 after making just 14 senior appearances for the Reds, as Jurgen Klopp looks to make space for further acquisitions. Morton’s move to Lyon is expected to be finalised soon, with negotiations reported to be at the "final stages" according to reliable sources like Fabrizio Romano. While Morton has shown promise, his lack of regular first-team action at Liverpool — making only five appearances last season — has led to a move away from Anfield. Despite his limited appearances, Morton played an instrumental role in England's Under-21 European Championship victory, assisting the winning goal in the final. The sale of Morton, an academy graduate, represents pure profit for Liverpool, adding to their funds as they continue to eye major signings this summer. The move could also serve as a precursor to Liverpool's ongoing efforts to sign a marquee player, with Alexander Isak still heavily linked to the club. Though their initial £120 million bid for the Newcastle striker was rejected, Liverpool remains in the market for a high-profile signing, and the Morton sale could pave the way for further business. For Morton, a move to Lyon presents an exciting opportunity for more regular first-team football at a prestigious European club, despite Lyon's current financial difficulties. The seven-time Ligue 1 champions are aiming to rebuild and return to their former glory, and Morton could play a key role in that vision. Meanwhile, Liverpool’s transfer strategy isn’t just about buying; it’s also about raising funds through sales, and Morton’s departure could signal more exits in the coming weeks. Players like Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott are also being linked with potential moves, as the Reds continue to reshape their squad. As for Isak, the saga is far from over, and Liverpool’s pursuit of the Swedish striker could continue into the final weeks of the transfer window.
