Tottenham Hotspur are preparing for a key Premier League clash against Aston Villa this Sunday with fresh changes to their squad. While French forward Randal Kolo Muani is finally fit to make his league debut, the team will be without midfielder Yves Bissouma for several weeks following an ankle injury sustained on international duty.

Kolo Muani in Line for Long-Awaited Spurs Debut
After arriving on loan from Paris Saint-Germain last month, Randal Kolo Muani is now in contention to feature in a Spurs shirt for the first time in the Premier League. The striker had been sidelined for the last five matches due to a dead leg but has now returned to full training.

“Kolo has trained with the group for the past two weeks,” confirmed manager Thomas Frank during his pre-match press conference. “He’s looking sharper and will be available for selection, which is encouraging.”

The addition of Kolo Muani could provide a much-needed attacking boost as Spurs aim to maintain their impressive unbeaten streak.

Bissouma’s Injury Adds to Growing Spurs Absentee List
While Muani’s return is a positive development, Spurs have suffered a significant blow with the loss of Yves Bissouma. The Mali international injured his ankle ligaments during the recent World Cup qualifiers and is now expected to be out for several weeks.

“Biss had a situation with his national team — a ligament injury to the ankle,” Frank explained. “It’s unfortunate, and it means he’ll be out for a while.”

In addition to Bissouma, striker Dominic Solanke remains unavailable as he continues to recover from ankle surgery. Although he has resumed light training, his return date remains uncertain.

Injury Concerns Mount as Spurs Push for Top Spot
Tottenham’s injury woes don’t stop there. The club is currently missing seven players, including key names such as Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison, Radu Dragusin, and Kota Takai. Despite the setbacks, Spurs are in strong form, riding a seven-game unbeaten run across all competitions.

Currently third in the Premier League standings with 14 points, Spurs sit just two points behind league leaders Arsenal. A win against Villa could further strengthen their title ambitions.

Frank Seeks First Win Over Emery as Spurs Host Villa
Sunday’s matchup will also be a tactical test for Thomas Frank, who has yet to beat Aston Villa boss Unai Emery in five Premier League attempts. Frank has suffered three defeats and two draws against the Spanish manager.

“What Unai has done in his career is outstanding,” Frank acknowledged. “He’s built something really strong at Villa. They came very close to qualifying for the Champions League. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”

Villa currently sit 13th in the table with nine points from seven games and will be aiming to disrupt Spurs’ momentum at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
