Wolves Add Blistering Pace to Squad with Signing of Cameroon Defender Jackson Tchatchoua

Wolverhampton Wanderers have bolstered their backline with the capture of Jackson Tchatchoua from Hellas Verona, signing the lightning-fast wing-back on a five-year contract. The 23-year-old, who clocked the highest speed in Serie A last season, becomes the club’s fourth acquisition of the summer transfer window.

Tchatchoua Brings Speed and Versatility to Molineux

Tchatchoua, a Belgium-born defender who represents Cameroon internationally, is known for his explosive pace and attacking instincts from the right flank. According to data provided by Wolves, he reached a top speed of 36.3 km/h in the 2024–25 Serie A campaign — the fastest recorded in the league.
